The Brief
The Curator by Lex Art Café in Kowloon Hong Kong is a unique concept that pairs high-quality coffee with sought-after art in an environment that feels like a gallery.
They approached us as their cafe lighting agency to create a scheme that could adapt to seasonal campaigns and showcase both their art and products with equal impact.
The Outcome
We designed a dynamic lighting system that can completely change colour at the touch of a setting, allowing the café to match lighting to campaigns, events, or seasonal moods. The overall lighting approach draws inspiration from museums, using controlled, focused illumination to enhance the art displays while keeping the atmosphere warm and inviting for guests.
