We created a bespoke lighting scheme for Castle One Clubhouse, highlighting Art Deco features and enhancing the space’s layered, luxurious design.

The Brief
Castle One Clubhouse in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong, takes its inspiration from a 1920s antique gate in the owner’s collection, reimagining the look and feel of an Art Deco stately home as a modern residential club.
The lighting design needed to enhance this balance of retro and contemporary, highlighting the opulence of the interiors while remaining highly functional for daily use.
The Outcome
In the entrance lobby, high-level lighting was used to complement gold columns, shadowed recesses, and intricate mother-of-pearl detailing. The lighting scheme reinforces the interior’s layered design, subtly zoning areas while maintaining a harmonious flow. Every fixture was selected and positioned to complement the unique Art Deco statement pieces and elevate the overall aesthetic, resulting in a luxurious, atmospheric space that feels both timeless and inviting.
We designed linear lighting to illuminate the antique gate as a striking focal point at the entrance. Inside, chandeliers and suspended ceiling lighting bring grandeur to the space, while display boxes and custom-made glass wall lighting add refined layers of detail.
