The Brief
The Hayworth is a premium serviced apartment development in Causeway Bay, requiring a lighting design that enhanced its sophisticated interiors while maximising comfort for residents. With ceiling heights on the lower side, our challenge was to use light to visually extend the space.
The project included lobby lighting, front building signage, apartments, and rooftop terrace, with a focus on rich detailing and adaptable ambience.
The Outcome
In the lobby, we created warm, indulgent lighting to complement the woodwork and gold accents, adding depth and richness to the arrival experience. Subtle techniques were used to visually lift the ceiling, creating a sense of openness. For the apartments, lighting was tailored to each space: softer illumination for bedrooms, wardrobe lighting for functionality, kitchen lighting for clarity, and low-level pendant lights that cast beautiful shadows on the wallpaper. Bathrooms were lit to highlight the dramatic black-and-white colour scheme with a pop of colour, while the rooftop terrace featured adaptable lighting to shift with different moods and occasions.
The scheme ties together luxury, comfort, and atmosphere across every part of the building.
